Project Implementation

The deposit is expected to be developed using open-pit and underground methods. Ore processing technology: sell leaching, INCO deactivation, semi-dry tailing storage, recycling water supply.

Talas Gold Mining Plant is divided into two clusters. The upper cluster is mining complex, while the lower cluster is processing complex.

The mining complex is located at an altitude of 3,800 to 2,700 m above sea level.

The complex includes:

  • Open pit
  • Ore stockpile
  • Shift camp

 

The processing complex is located at an altitude of 2040 to 1880 m above sea level.

The complex includes:

  • Gold Concentrator
  • Tailing dump
  • Fuel storage
  • Shift camp

Project Prospects

Further prospects of the project are associated with eight new sites with estimated gold reserves of 1 million ounces.
